Bacara Kid’s Club Program
Parents and children alike rejoice once they discover the Bacara Kid’s Club. Designed to give parents the opportunity to relax, the Kid’s Club, which features daily activities held both in- and outdoors, allows children to explore, create, and imagine the mysterious environment around them. Our courteous staff of childcare professionals is CPR and First Aid certified. Plus, with a child/adult ration of six to one, each child is guaranteed personalized attention.

Outdoor Activities
Marvel at the sight of a real monarch butterfly reserve. Explore the Globose Dune Beetle habitat. Hunt for the hidden treasures and secrets left behind by the Chumash Indians. All this and more is possible with the Bacara Kid’s Club’s regularly-scheduled nature hikes in and around the resort. Plus, the picturesque coast is the perfect setting for sand castle kingdoms and even the occasional spotting of dolphins, sea otters, and whales. From hikes to beach activity to kites and croquet, adventures in the great outdoors are endless with the Bacara’s Kid’s Club.

Indoor Activities
For kids with a penchant for creativity, arts & crafts and face-painting, puppet shows offered by the Bacara Kid’s Club provide hours of entertainment. Our specially designed kid-friendly room provides an environment that not only fosters creativity—showcased through hourly activities like picture frame-making, coloring, and drawing—but also fun, indoor games such as air hockey and foosball. With such an array of activities, your kids will be talking about the Kid’s Club long after your vacation ends.

Hours
Bacara Kid’s Club is open by reservation (with 24 hour notice) from 9:00am – 4:00pm. Special evening programs and activities are offered only during holiday weekends.

Kid’s Club is available to any Bacara guest, with children age 5 to 12. If a child is under the age of five, a parent or full-time babysitter must accompany the child.

What should you bring?
Children participating in Kid’s Club should wear weather appropriate clothing, active footwear, hat and swimsuit is optional. Please apply sunscreen to children prior to their arrival at Kid’s Club.
