Five-Star Dining, Steps from the Pacific Ocean
Named after Spanish artist Joan Miró, Bacara’s Miró offers extraordinary New Basque-Catalonian cuisine and an interior inspired by the vibrant colors and forms in the artist’s work. Chef de Cuisine David Garwacki’s dishes are accented with the flavors of Spain.
The Miró at Bacara has earned high marks as one of the best restaurants in all of Santa Barbara by delighting our guests.
Among the favorite starters are Potato Gnocchi with Duck Confit, Caramelized Pumpkin, Cépes, Sage and Madeira Créme. Entree specialties include Atlantic Halibut with Brussels Sprout Leaves, Salsify, Navel Orange, Cracklings, Parsnip and Almond Milk; as well as Duo of Beef featuring Grilled Rib Eye and Braised Short Ribs with Potato Gateau and Marrow Jus.
Diners may opt for a four-course Garden Tasting Menu, a four-course Prix Fixe Menu or a six-course Tasting Menu available for the entire party. To further enhance the dining experience, Miró Wine Cellar houses an extensive collection of wines, upwards of 12,000 bottles featuring 1,200 labels spanning 13 countries and 75 international appellations. The wine list has expanded over the years and now proudly represents the greatest wines produced in the world, as well as local California wineries.
Miró Bar & Lounge offers an intimate setting for enjoying an array of sensational tapas, homemade sangria and innovative cocktails made from ultra premium ingredients by Bacara’s talented mixologists.
One truly exceptional feature of Miró Restaurant is the 40-seat private dining room in the Wine Cellar, home to Bacara’s rare and prestigious wines. The wine cellar is the perfect room to host a private engagement, a corporate wine tasting function or a quaint social affair.
Bacara’s Director of Wine Michael Trupiano and Chef de Cuisine David Garwacki will gladly customize wine pairings to accompany desired cuisine or a multi-course tasting menu.
