For 11 days every year, exceptional film meets award-winning cuisine and libations during Film Feast—an invitation to explore the best plates and pours throughout Santa Barbara’s many film districts during the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

At Bacara, the resort’s signature restaurant, Miró, will offer a spectacular three-course menu for only $45 per person, plus tax & gratuity.

The menu will highlight Local Red Snapper Carpaccio, Local Chanterelle Carbonara Artisan Pasta and Braised Prime Short Ribs. Miró’s Film Feast menu is available January 24 to February 3 from 5 to 9 p.m. For reservations, please click here.

Additionally, Bacara is celebrating the Santa Barbara International Film Festival with a special “Hollywood & Hollister” package that includes:

  • Overnight accommodations
  • A screening of a Santa Barbara movie (such as Sideways) shown in the resort’s own 211-seat Screening Room paired with two glasses of local wine and savory snacks. Bacara’s movie screenings take place nightly at 8 p.m. The featured movie will change daily.
  • Complimentary valet parking

Bacara’s “Hollywood & Hollister” package is available January 24 to February 3; rates start at $374 a night.

Santa Barbara’s century-long career as a movie backdrop and getaway for top Hollywood talent started during the silent era — Santa Barbara was California’s original filmmaking hub.

Whether scouting sites dating back to Cecil B. DeMille’s The Ten Commandments (1923), sipping pinot noir on the Sideways (2004) wine trail or watching cutting-edge cinema in historic theatres during the Film Festival, visitors will discover that Santa Barbara looks as good in real life as she does on the big screen.

The Santa Barbara Convention & Visitors Bureau offers a comprehensive film tourism microsite as well as Sideways movie tour maps.

Film Feast is presented by the Santa Barbara Convention & Visitors Bureau and Santa Barbara Downtown Organization.
