Screening Room

The 211-seat Screening Room is equipped with comfortable theater seats and foldaway desktops. Our state-of-the-art Screening Room includes:

  • A projection room with digital cinema technology, suitable for 35mm first-run movies, along with a surround-sound audio system and drop-down screen.
  • A generous stage that can be converted into a performance or lecture/presentation area.
  • Electronic voting and simultaneous translation capabilities.
  • A Director’s Lounge – a large, circular room with lovely arches, column details and a built-in bar that is ideal as a pre-function area or for other social events for 80-150 persons.


Executive Conference & Technology Center

This self-contained Southern California Conference Center contains an 88-seat auditorium, with tiered classroom seating that complies with the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC) guidelines. Our Conference Center is equipped with:

  • Data/telephone ports and T-1 connections for real-time Internet access from each seat
  • LAN connections for group software installation
  • Audio/video-conferencing capabilities
  • Four mahogany-paneled breakout rooms – San Miguel, Santa Rosa, Anacapa and Santa Cruz
  • A dedicated Concierge
  • Lounge and Channel Terrace Patio

In addition to the 88-seat auditorium, the Executive Conference Center includes four mahogany-paneled breakout rooms – San Miguel, Santa Rosa, Anacapa, and Santa Cruz – with the latest in audiovisual technology, as well as a dedicated concierge service. It also offers a luxuriously appointed Lounge and Channel Terrace Patio that overlooks the Pacific Ocean and the Ocean Lawn.

  • Bacara Ballroom

    This spacious, luxury venue is an expansive 11,300 square feet and features 23-foot-high ceilings with beautiful sculptured details, gilt-framed mirrors, and six balconies. The Bacara Ballroom also offers a direct-access loading dock. It can accommodate up to 1,500 guests for a theater set-up, 110 guests for a conference set-up, and 1,500 guests for a reception. It’s the largest venue at our Santa Barbara meeting resort.


  • Ballroom A, B and C

    The Bacara Ballroom can be divided into three separate areas, each 43 feet by 87 feet. Each venue space can accommodate up to 400 guests for a theater set-up, 45 guests for a conference set-up, and 350 guests for a reception. Offering the same gracious details, it’s the perfect venue if you’re looking for something smaller than the Bacara Ballroom.


  • Additional Bacara Ballroom Space

    The Bacara Ballroom also features 8,700 square feet of additional event space, including a light-filled, vaulted foyer with a fireplace, an adjacent ocean view terrace, and a sprawling lawn area.


  • Rotunda, Terrace and Balcony

    The 1,734-square-foot, circular Rotunda atop Bacara’s main lobby features a sun-filled space, complete with views of the ocean, gardens, and adjoining terraces. Wood-framed windows, a vaulted 20-foot ceiling, and a dramatic wrought-iron chandelier add to the Rotunda’s warm ambience. The Terrace offers an alfresco venue, while the Balcony provides beautiful ocean views. This luxury meeting venue in southern California can accommodate up to 1,000 guests for a theater set-up, 30 guests for a conference set-up and 180 guests for a reception.


  • Santa Ynez Room and Terrace

    At 2,072 square feet, the Santa Ynez Room is ideal for midsize meeting or dining events, with a two-story vaulted ceiling and exterior terrace with ocean views. Santa Ynez Room and Terrace can accommodate up to 150 guests for a theater set-up and 220 guests for a reception.


  • Six Salons

    In close proximity to the Rotunda and Santa Ynez Room are six smaller salons, excellent for breakout sessions or social gatherings. Each salon has its own private patio, and they all share a wide foyer for registration or other functions. Salon 1, 2 and 5 can accommodate up to 45 guests for a theater set-up, 15 for a conference and 50 guests for a reception.  Salon 3, 4 and 6 can accommodate up to 80 guests for a theater set-up, 30 for a conference, and 100 guests for a reception.


  • Wine Cellar

    Bacara’s wine cellar features an impressive display of 12,000 wines from around the world, along with a private dining room that seats up to 40 persons. It’s the perfect space for one-of-a-kind culinary events.

  • The Bluff

    The Bluff is high atop the Pacific with dramatic ocean views. This gracious, outdoor venue can accommodate up to 300 persons.


  • Ocean Lawn

    The Ocean Lawn offers panoramic ocean views and is adjacent to the Executive Center. It’s the perfect meeting venue if you’re looking for alfresco event space to mingle in-between indoor meetings. This beautiful outdoor event venue can accommodate up to 500 persons.


  • Oval Lawn

    The Oval Lawn is a private, enclosed garden area in the heart of the resort, which can accommodate up to 300 persons. It’s one of our most private outdoor venues for corporate functions, executive retreats, and meetings in Santa Barbara, CA.


  • Presidential Lawn

    This intimate, oceanside venue can be privately reserved in conjunction with the Presidential Residence, Bacara’s premier 3,700-square foot Pacific retreat. The Presidential Lawn can accommodate up to 180 guests.


  • Ocean Terrace

    The open-air Ocean Terrace, with its wood-burning fireplace, is the perfect place for outdoor events of up to 200 persons. Gather around the fire as you brainstorm with colleagues.
